Yog Anusandhan Sansthan, Lucknow, an independent institution registered under the Uttar Pradesh Societies Registration Act, was established on the 18th October, 1995 to propagate the teachings of Yogic Sciences, for physical, mental and spiritual development. The Sansthan is dedicated to research and development of applied yoga and management of psychosomatic diseases through yogic practices and meditation.
Yog Anusandhan Sansthan draws its inspiration for the spiritual masters of the Bihar School of Yoga Tradition – Sri Swami Sivananda Saraswati, Sri Swami Satyananda Saraswati and Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati. Bihar School of Yoga was founded in 1964 by Sri Swami Satyananda Saraswati to impart yogic training.
